ANODIZING

Aluminum with an anodic oxide layer, produced through an anodizing process.  The surface layer is converted into a oxide layer with protective and/ or  decorative proprieties .
  • Anodic protective Oxide layers :
anodic oxide layers which main characteristic is the mechanical corrosion and abrasion protection while the aesthetic appearance is a secondary characteristic
  • Decorative oxide layers :
Anodic oxide layers which the main characteristic is represented by uniformity or aesthetic appearance
The anodized aluminum has the main employment in the following sectors:
  • Buildings and architecture – alloys 1050A – 5005 – ( AQ anodizing quality))
  • In the  protection against  by atmospheric corrosion  – alloys 1050A – 5005- 5754
  • In the hard anodizing (beyond 40 oxide micron.) alloys series 5000 and 3000
